How It Works
1. Request Interception
Before any data reaches AI models, StrikeUp scans the content for PII patterns using advanced regex and ML-based detection.
2. Masking
Detected PII is replaced with tokens like [EMAIL], [PHONE], or [SSN]. Original values are stored securely with encryption.
3. AI Processing
AI models receive only masked data. They can understand context and respond appropriately without accessing actual sensitive values.
4. Unmasking
When the response is returned to your application, tokens are replaced with original values (if configured). End users see complete information.
Compliance & Audit Logs
StrikeUp maintains detailed audit logs of all API calls, PII detections, and data access. Logs are tamper-proof and available for compliance audits.
Custom Protection Rules
Need to mask custom data patterns? Configure additional protection rules in the dashboard. Use regex patterns to detect and mask proprietary identifiers, internal codes, or industry-specific sensitive data.
